Bill Clinton Hospitalization for Angina Not Unexpected
Former President Bill Clinton was admitted Thursday to a New York City hospital after experiencing mild angina (chest pain) for several days. He underwent an interventional procedure to have a clogged coronary (heart) artery unblocked by the placement of a stent (a mechanical “tube” to prop the clogged vessel open). As a Cardiologist myself and loosely familiar with his condition, I can say that this was not unexpected.
